A fluid ecommerce platform for Youswim
Youswim’s vision for a swimsuit that fits every body needed a website equally as flexible. A traditional ecommerce collection page wouldn’t do justice to the amount of possibility within the brand’s offering.
We designed a custom filtering system that gives the user the opportunity to see all styles, cuts, and colors simultaneously while browsing.
We then built a suite of features like editorial, user accounts, and internationalized pricing to support Youswim’s growth and users’ ease-of-use.
Presq‘s bespoke, immersive shopping experience
Presq creates limited edition products made-to-order with 3D technology. We created an ecommerce platform that reflects the brand’s avant-garde approach, while providing for a nontraditional order fulfillment process.
We created an expressive shopping experience that builds a world around the user and their custom choices and experience. The product selection flow turns a limited product line into an artful environment, integrating our engaging and original design language without compromising functionality.
Because Presq drops products in limited releases made-to-order, they don’t actually hold inventory on-hand. We built a bespoke system for processing orders according to customer specifications.
Loupe This: A realtime auction platform for luxury watches
Account management, bid placement, and multi-stage payment flows can feel unsexy. Loupe This wanted to create an elevated experience to reflect the luxury of the products they sell, consistent throughout all customer touchpoints. The result is an experience more akin to Cartier than eBay.
We built the core auction API using Ruby on Rails, backed by a Postgres database and a Redis cache layer. We coupled this with WebSocket and standard HTTP endpoints.
After building the foundational API, we embarked on building a premium user interface. We leveraged NextJS to build a combination of statically-generated content pages and interactive real-time auction pages. Content editors used Sanity CMS to compose modules for long-form content pages, as well as to populate auction pages with rich media and narrative.
We bolstered the growing community with a host of community to support social interaction between users on the platform. Loupe This launched in 2021, and we have continued to build new features and support their evolution as their audience grows.
